Gerry Adams 'available for police questions' on McConville

Sinn Fein's Gerry Adams has asked a lawyer to contact police to see if they want to speak to him about the murder of Belfast mother Jean McConville. Ivor Bell was remanded in custody at the weekend after being charged in connection with the case.

16 people 'disappeared' during the Troubles

According to the Independent Commission for the Location of Victims Remains, there were sixteen people who ‘disappeared’ during the Troubles in Northern Ireland.

To date, the remains of nine victims have been recovered.
