Rolling Stones' Ronnie Wood has vowed the band "will do everything we can to help" Sir Mick Jagger after the death of his partner, the fashion designer L'Wren Scott. Jagger had said he was "still struggling to understand" her death.
The editor of fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar has told ITV News of L'Wren Scott's "great talent for friendship".
Justine Picardie said as well as being "an inspiration to many in the fashion industry", Scott was "a very dear friend to a number of people, myself included".
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
