FA charge Newcastle boss Alan Pardew over headbutt

Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has been charged by the FA with improper conduct after headbutting a Hull City player during their Premier League match on Saturday. He has already been fined £100,000 and received a formal warning from his club

Newcastle United manager Pardew also fined £60,000

Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew was also fined £60,000 and warned as to his future conduct. The Football Association said an Independent Regulatory Commission ruled the first three-matches imposed are a stadium ban with the remaining four a touchline ban.

The ban comes after he was involved in an incident in which he appeared to headbutt a Hull City player in the 72nd minute of a fixture on March 1.
