A news anchor at the state-funded news channel Russia Today has announced her resignation live on air over the situation in Ukraine.

The former Russia Today anchor woman who resigned live on air said she made her decision after the "propagandist nature" of the state sponsored TV network "came out it in full force, like I have never seen it before".
Liz Wahl said bosses' decision to cut the words "Russian intervention" from an interview with a former US Congressman led her to resign.
