The brother of murdered teenager Stephen Lawrence has said he would agree to take part in a probe into police records following a damning report which found that officers spied on his family.

A Met Police statement has said that the findings of the Stephen Lawrence review may have a "negative impact on confidence in modern day policing".
The statement said that Mark Ellison, QC received the "full support" of the Metropolitan Police Service in research the review.
"His report considers some very serious issues that whilst in the main are historical, could have a negative impact on confidence in modern day policing. We await the Home Secretary's announcement on how she wishes Mr Ellison's work to be taken forward," the statement said.
Later today, the Chief Constable of Derbyshire, Mick Creedon and the Deputy Commissioner, Craig Mackey, will publish a copy of Operation Herne's investigation into allegations made by Peter Francis.
