Power cuts have been reported in Datchet, Singleton and East Marden in the Thames area amid continued flooding. Around 1,700 homes are thought to have been affected, as storms continue to hit southern Britain.
Datchet village in Berkshire has been partially flooded. There are currently 14 severe weather warnings in place along the River Thames.

A man who built a clay wall in order to protect his house from the rising waters said he has two days before the flooding finally hits.

Towns and villages along a stretch of the River Thames have been deluged leading to emergency evacuations.
