Met Police officer jailed for 12 months over 'plebgate' affair
A Metropolitan Police officer has been sentenced to 12 months in prison after pleading guilty to a charge of misconduct in public office over the "plebgate" scandal.
'Andrew Mitchell should go back into Cabinet'
Conservative MP David Davis, the former shadow home secretary, said it is clear that former chief whip Andrew Mitchell has suffered an injustice an "all that remains is for him to go back into Cabinet."
