At least two held after Briton killed defending his wife

At least two people are being held by police on the Caribbean island of St Lucia after a Briton was killed while defending his wife.

A St Lucian police spokesman confirmed Mr Pratt died trying to defend his wife from attackers, but said there was no evidence the man was shot.

Roger Pratt, 62, from Warwickshire died when he was attacked on his boat yesterday - just hours after the couple's plan to leave was thwarted by officials. Mr Pratt's wife, Margaret, is being treated in hospital after the attack.

Nobody has been arrested yet but there are some guys in custody. The investigators are very busy looking at what happened.
