The Environment Agency has warned communities along the River Thames throughout Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire of the risk of further flooding, after it burst its banks. There are currently more than 70 flood warnings in place.
Engineers have restored power to all homes without electricity following the Christmas storms, the Energy Networks Association wrote on Twitter:
A farm in Muchelney, Somerset, has been completely surrounded by floodwater following the recent storms, turning it into an island.
