A power company is offering to foot their customers' bills for Christmas dinner after thousands were left without power today.
Matt Rudling, a spokesman for UK Power Networks, said it was asking local pubs, hotels and restaurants to get in touch if they have space tomorrow.
"We are conscious that a few people's Christmas dinners are going to be ruined tomorrow, so we're trying to find ways that we can help," he said.
He added that the company would foot the bill up to £40 per head.
