The Prime Minister has written a personal letter to the mother of a British surgeon who died in Syria calling his death as a "sickening" tragedy. Dr Abbas Khan's sister told ITV News that helping to find answers is "the least" the government can do.
Scotland Yard is to be involved in the post-mortem process surrounding the death of British doctor Abbas Khan, the family's solicitor has said, after his body was flown back to the UK.
Nabeel Sheikh issued a statement which read:
