Singer Tulisa Contostavlos and rapper Mike GLC, also known as Michael Coombs, will next appear at Southwark Crown Court in central London on January 9.
Both the N-Dubz star and Coombs have denied drugs charges.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
