Prime Minister: Syria must answer for UK surgeon's death

The Prime Minister has written a personal letter to the mother of a British surgeon who died in Syria calling his death as a "sickening" tragedy. Dr Abbas Khan's sister told ITV News that helping to find answers is "the least" the government can do.

Family of British surgeon feels 'abandoned' by officials

The brother of a British surgeon, who died in Syria, has said his family has felt "abandoned by the officials in our country and abroad".

Shahnawaz Khan told ITV News that British authorities treated his brother "like he's been caught drinking on the streets of Dubai" instead of as a humanitarian aid worker.
