A further 19 hospitals are to be investigated over their links with Jimmy Savile, the Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt announced. They are in addition to the 13 that were initially named in a police inquiry into the disgraced television presenter.
Detectives investigating cases of alleged abuse by Jimmy Savile at an initial 13 hospitals gleaned further information that patients at other facilities could have been targeted by the television presenter.
