Life for man who killed family
Anxiang Du was today jailed at Northampton Crown Court for life with minimum of 40 years after being convicted of murdering four members of the Ding family at their home in Wootton, Northamptonshire, in April 2011.

After Anxiang Du was jailed for at least 40 years, relatives of the Ding family made the following statement:
Today justice has been served. The murderer Anxiang Du will spend the rest of his life in prison. No sentence, however long, can ever replace the loss of our loved ones and the pain we feel.
Anxiang Du has been found guilty of killing a family of four in a revenge attack after he lost a legal case against the parents in 2011.
Relatives of the Dings who were stabbed to death have said it was "like the whole sky had fallen down" when they heard about the murders.
