Influential musician Lou Reed, founding member of the Velvet Underground and famous for solo hits including Walk on the Wild Side and Perfect Day, has died aged 71.

Music mogul Simon Cowell said he was "so sad" to hear that musician Lou Reed had died, calling the star "a legend".
He wrote on Twitter:
So sad to hear Lou reed has passed away. A legend.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
