Aung San Suu Kyi delivers speech at Sandhurst

Burmese opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi today delivered a speech at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, as part of her five-day visit to the UK on her European tour.

The leader of Burma's pro-democracy movement had requested to spend a day at the military academy, a spokesman for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office confirmed earlier this month.

As well as giving a speech, she watched the cadets in training and chatted to the academy's members over a cup of tea.
