Terror suspect given UK asylum

Theresa May is to be questioned over why Al-Qaeda terror suspect Anas al-Libi, who captured by US special forces this weekend, was given asylum in Britain. The 49-year-old is accused of involvement in the American embassy bombings in east Africa.

US forces capture al-Qaeda suspect in Islamist swoop

The US has warned Islamist terrorist organisations that "they can run but they can't hide," following two raids targeting senior militants in Africa.

Yesterday, American commandos captured an al-Qaeda suspect in Libya, wanted over the US Embassy bombings of fifteen years ago.

Special forces also raided a stronghold of al-Shabaab, the Somali-based group behind last month's attack on a Kenyan shopping mall, as Nick Thatcher reports.
