The mother of missing Madeleine McCann attended the start of the libel trial earlier this month against a former police chief in Portugal, to "stop the damage" she believes is being caused to the search for her daughter by his book.
Goncalo Amaral published a book making allegations about the disappearance of her daughter, three-year-old Madeleine, back in 2007.
Kate McCann said: "I'm here to stop the damage that has been caused and is still being caused, both directly and indirectly, to the search for our daughter."
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
