Hundreds of people have turned out for the funeral of murdered schoolgirl April Jones in her home town of Machynllyth in Wales. It is almost a year since the five-year-old went missing. Mark Bridger was jailed in May for life for killing her.

Hundreds of mourners are expected at the mid-Wales town, near where the five-year-old lived.

They are being asked to wear pink, April's favourite colour, or bright colours in her memory.
Despite one of the biggest searches in police history April's body has never been found. Tiny fragments of bone were found in the home of her killer, 47-year-old Mark Bridger.
The remains have been formally released to the family after a coroner's hearing concluded without a verdict.
