Chaos and stalemate in battle for Christian town in Syria
Intense fighting between President Bashar al-Assad's forces and rebels in the Christian town of Maaloula continues with neither side seemingly capable of complete victory.
The Syrian government thought they had retaken the ancient town after hitting the rebels with artillery and tank fire but their enemy fought back.
