Son 'pleaded with mum's killer'
The son of a woman shot dead in her home in Turkey said he pleaded with the gunman before he killed her and wounded him and his grandmother. The maintenance man has been arrested.
Man accused of Turkey shooting 'confessed to a friend'
A man claiming to be an old friend of the Turkish gardener accused of killing a British woman has told ITV News that his friend confessed to the shooting.
Ozay Akdogan told our Europe Correspondent Emma Murphy that the gardener Veli Acar came to his house saying: "I killed my wife and I shoot [sic] her son with a hunting gun".
Acar is not known to have been married to his victim, but claims they were in a six-year relationship.
