Son 'pleaded with mum's killer'
The son of a woman shot dead in her home in Turkey said he pleaded with the gunman before he killed her and wounded him and his grandmother. The maintenance man has been arrested.
Holiday shooting family described as 'lovely people'
Three members of the same family shot while on holiday in Turkey were lovely people who never got in trouble, their next door neighbours said.
They named the woman who was shot dead as Anne Bury, 56, from Swainby, a picturesque North Yorkshire village.
Her son Alex, who lived with her and is in his early 20s, was also shot, as was her mother Cecilia Bury, in her 80s, from Middlesbrough. Both are receiving treatment in hospital.
