Rocky V boxer Tommy 'Gunn' Morrison dies at 44

Former heavyweight boxer Tommy Morrison died at the age of 44 on Sunday night, his manager told the Associated Press.

He was perhaps most famous for his role as Tommy Gunn in the film Rocky V but also enjoyed sporting success, beating George Foreman to win the WBO heavyweight title in 1993.

Morrison's family has not disclosed the cause of his death.
