Fracking protests to continue
Anti-fracking protesters will maintain a presence outside an exploratory drilling site following two days of direct action against the energy company carrying out the work.
Police: About 30 arrested at anti-fracking protest
Police say they have arrested about 30 protesters in Balcombe today and have taken them to a number of different police stations across Sussex.
There were no further details of charges.
Sussex Police Superintendent Lawrence Hobbs told ITV News that he had no choice but to arrest those who would not go peacefully.
