Labour leader Ed Miliband has been egged during a visit to a street market in south London. The Metropolitan police has told ITV News it will not be making any arrests after the Labour leader "did not wish to take the matter any further."

The Labour Leader Ed Miliband has made light of the fact he was pelted with eggs during a visit to a south London market.

"This is not the first time it's happened to me, I'm sure it's not the last," he said. "I'm always looking for new ways to connect with the voters."
