Charles: 'We're waiting' for baby
Prince Charles has told a young well-wisher his grandson or daughter "hasn't quite appeared yet." The Prime Minister has said it is "a very exciting occasion and the whole country is excited."
Prince William's friend calls royal baby news 'exciting'
A close friend of Prince William has spoken of his excitement ahead of the royal baby's arrival.
Oliver Hicks, who has just arrived in Norway after kayaking across the North Sea from Britain, said, "I was very keen to find out whether William and Kate's baby had arrived on making landfall".
Mr Hicks, who attended the royal wedding, said: "It was very exciting to hear the baby is now on its way as we landed back in the UK. It is such great - and very happy - news.
"I hope it all goes smoothly and wonder if the little one will be like William or Kate. I look forward to meeting the nipper in due course".
