A third man has been arrested by detectives investigating allegations of a historic paedophile ring in North Wales.

A third man has been arrested by police investigating allegations of a paedophile ring in North Wales.
Detectives from Operation Pallial, launched last November, are looking into 140 allegations relating to 18 care homes between 1963 and 1992.
A 72-year-old man has been arrested in Wrexham on suspicion of physical assaults against five boys and three girls aged between 10 and 15.
The assaults allegedly took place between 1974 and 1986 and the man will be taken to a police station in North Wales to be questioned.
Operation Pallial is looking into recent allegations of historical abuse in the care system in North Wales.
