This footage from a local TV station shows the immediate aftermath of an explosion in southern Beirut earlier today in which at least 38 people were injured.
The blast occurred in a busy suburb of the city that is controlled by the Lebanese Hezbollah militant group.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
