Overnight clashes between supporters and opponents of President Morsi killed at least 23 people, the Associated Press reports. The majority of those dead were killed outside Cairo University.

This morning protesters are gathering for a fourth consecutive day of rallies, with his opponents celebrating the army's intervention and deadline.

Morsi's opponents say he has lost his legitimacy through mistakes and power grabs and that the turnout on the streets over the past three days shows the nation has turned against him.
