The Prime Minister has said the UK have not been "good at expressing pride" for Armed Forces ahead of celebrations today.
David Cameron said: "That's what this day is all about, pride and gratitude, celebrating what our armed forces do and above all saying thank you. If we're honest, for a long time in this country we were not very good at that".
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
