UK to build Afghan memorial
The UK plans to build a permanent memorial to British personnel killed in Afghanistan in Staffordshire, Prime Minister David Cameron has announced. It will be funded by fines imposed on banks over the Libor scandal.
Cameron: 'Privilege' to speak to troops
The Prime Minister has tweeted a photo of himself meeting troops in Afghanistan.
David Cameron said: "It's been a privilege talking to the men and women serving Britain in Helmand on Armed Forces Day."
