Brooks lawyer: 'Police bugging allegations are horrific'

Jane Deighton, the lawyer for Stephen Lawrence's friend Duwayne Brooks, has said that allegations that the Metropolitan Police recorded their meetings are "horrific".

Scotland Yard has told the the BBC that its directorate of professional standards was looking into the claim and that it was being treated with “huge seriousness”.
