Thirty-two people have been arrested for various offences during the G8 protests in London, including violent disorder, possession of pointed/bladed articles and a variety of public order offences, the Met Police said.
There were nearly 1,200 officers on duty during the demonstrations in the capital today, the force added.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
