First look at Sony Playstation 4 console at E3 Expo 2013
Sony has offered gaming fans a first look at the new PlayStation 4 hardware at the E3 Expo 2013 in Los Angeles.
As the PS4 was brought out on to the stage there were gasps from the excited crowd.
Michael Lynton, chief executive of Sony Pictures Entertainment, said the console is a "ground-breaking" platform for entertainment.
The console will be priced at $399 in the US and £349 in the UK when it goes on sale in the Autumn.
Earlier, Microsoft announcedthat its new Xbox One will retail for £429 in the UK
Sony also revealed that more than 30 PS4 titles are in development, with 20 planned for launch in the console's first year.
