Syrian teenager: 'When I hear aeroplanes I run to hide'

Ahmad, four, and his brother Mohammad, 14, are two of the many children struggling with unthinkable trauma at Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan.

The pair have wounds, sustained when a shell landed in the kitchen of their home in Deraa, but their psychological scars are not visible.

Mohammad told us: "I will never forget what happened to me as long as I live".

"Whenever I hear aeroplanes I am terrified. My heart starts racing and I run to hide."
