President Obama has told the disaster-hit residents of Moore that Oklahomans have inspired America with their "love and their courage" in the wake of last week's deadly tornado.
"Everywhere fellow Americans are praying with you, they're thinking about you and they want to help," Mr Obama said after flying in to meet the survivors.
"So I am just a messenger here today letting everybody know that you are not alone," he added.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
