David Beckham said he will retire from professional football at the end of the season. He said: "I feel now is the right time to finish my career, playing at the highest level."
Beckham's final game is against Lorient (not L Orient)
The final match of David Beckham's career will be against French side Lorient on Sunday 26 May.
English League One side Leyton Orient took to Twitter to point out that they have no connection to the Ligue 1 outfit, after receiving "a few phone calls".
