President Barack Obama has said the US expects to find more evidence of the use of chemical weapons in Syria, but warned that rushing into the conflict could cause problems on the ground. He said the US is engaged in trying to deal with the crisis.
President Barack Obama has vowed that the US will not "leap before we look" in response to Syria's alleged use of chemical weapons.
At a press conference, as part of a visit to Costa Rica, Obama said he does not foresee a scenario in which he would dispatch US troops to Syria.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
