Lanterns for Philpott children

Lanterns were lit in Derby on Sunday in remembrance of the six Philpott children who were killed in a house fire started by their father. The house is be demolished, councillors have announced yesterday.

Mick Philpott holds his heads in his hands as the sentences are read out at Nottingham Crown Court. He was jailed for life with a minimum term of 15 years after being found guilty of killing six of his children in a house fire.
