Two British tourists have been shot in Barbados during a reported attempted robbery attempt as they made their way to the P&O cruise ship Adonia.

Two men have been charged in connection with the shooting of a British couple on holiday in Barbados, local police said.
Inspector David Welch of Royal Barbados Police identified the victims as 59-year-old Ann Prior and her husband Philip, 72, who were shot during a robbery as they visited the Caribbean island on a cruise ship on Sunday.
Police expect the two suspects, who have yet to be named, will be brought before a court in the next 24 hours.
"Two persons have been charged. One person was charged with serious bodily harm to two visitors", Inspector Welch said. "He has, in addition, been charged with another man with the offence of robbery".
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
