Police try to trace parents as baby's body is discovered

Police want to trace the parents of a newborn baby whose body was found in Bolton.

• Officers found the body wrapped up in clothing and plastic bags
• Police also found a note that requested the baby receive an Islamic burial
• It is unclear at this stage whether the baby was live or stillborn

Police say support networks are in place and are waiting to help the parents.
