Vicky Pryce, the ex-wife of former Cabinet minister Chris Huhne, has been found guilty of perverting the course of justice by taking his speeding points. Vince Cable and Nick Clegg's wife have denied her claim that they knew about the points.
The jury in the retrial of Vicky Pryce was shown emails between Pryce and Sunday Times political editor Isabel Oakeshott in which Pryce writes she had discussed points swapping with Vince Cable and his wife.
In an email to Isabel Oakeshott on April 9, Vicky Pryce wrote:
"Actually I had told Vince and Rachel about points before when the three of us were having supper about a month ago - they were horrified at the time but VC has probably forgotten it by now. He was v tired that night."
The ex-wife of former MP Chris Huhne was today found guilty of perverting the course of justice by taking his speeding points a decade ago.
The Greek-born former wife of Chris Huhne is a distinguished economist and has held positions in the private sector and civil service.
