British Gas profits up 11%
British Gas has announced its profits are up 11% from last year to £606m. Its owner Centrica, which also owns Scottish Gas, has announced its annual operating profits are up 14%.

This morning energy company Centrica announced a group adjusted operating profit of £2,415 million in 2012, up 14 per cent from 2011.

Tracy is a British Gas customer, which Centrica owns.
