Outgoing Italian Prime Minister Mario Monti has cast his vote in the country's general election.
Meanwhile, as former Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi voted three female protesters pulled off their tops to display the slogan "Basta Silvio! which was scrawled across their bodies.
Police detained the women for questioning and Italian news reports said the three were members of a feminist protest group.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
The US president also shared a post on Twitter accusing Dr Anthony Fauci of misleading the public over hydroxychloroquine.
