Coronation Street actor Michael Le Vell has said he will "fight vigorously" the 19 child sex offences he has been charged with, including one of rape. ITV said he will not be appearing in any further episodes pending the outcome of legal proceedings.
Michael Le Vell has been charged with 19 child sex offences, including rape and indecent assault, Greater Manchester Police said.
He is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Wednesday February 27.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
