Petrol bomb attack on police
Police officers north of Belfast in the Newtownabbey area have come under attack from petrol bombs during loyalist disturbances, said a PSNI spokesman.
'10 to 12' petrol bombs thrown at police north of Belfast
Approximately 10 to 12 petrol bombs were thrown at police in Newtownabbey during loyalist disturbances this evening, and a further 19 seized by officers and taken for forensic examination.
"Police came under attack from crowds throwing stones, bottles and petrol bombs following an earlier protest in the area," a spokesman said.
