Harry Styles and Taylor Swift 'split'

According to reports One Direction's Harry Styles and US country music singer Taylor Swift have split following a bust-up in the Caribbean.

The stars, who have been together since November, were spending time together on the island of Virgin Gorda, where they were seen happily posing for pictures with fans.

But the romantic holiday is reported to have lasted only a few days, before Swift caught the first flight back home to the US after a row with the teen heartthrob.

She suggested that all might not be well in her relationship with Styles when she posted the lyric "'Til you put me down", a line from her song I Knew You Were Trouble, on Twitter on Sunday.

She and Styles had spent Christmas apart before the One Direction singer flew out to the US to spend New Years with Swift.

They enjoyed New Year's Eve together in New York, where Swift was performing, and were pictured kissing in Times Square.

A spokesman for Styles would not comment on the reports of split.
