Jiroemon Kimura, the world's oldest man was given the honour by Guinness World Records for reaching the age of 115 years 253 days.
He became the world's oldest man on 17th December 2012 after Dina Manfredini (from the US) passed away aged 115 years, 257 days.
Jiroemon Kimura, who lives in Kyotango City, Kyoto, was born on 19th April 1897 and is only the third man in history to reach 115 years old.
The Democratic presidential candidate may also have shown his cards on his choice of running mate.
