Clifford: 'Very distressing' claims

Public relations consultant Max Clifford, who was released on bail after his arrest on suspicion of sexual offences, has said he is "going try and make things as normal as possible" and called the allegations "extremely distressing."

Max Clifford denies allegations, remarks on 'witch hunt'

Max Clifford earlier denied allegations made against him after being questioned by police.

Speaking outside his home, he said: "Anyone who really knew me all those years ago, and those who've known me since will have no doubt that I would never act in the way that I have been accused."

Asked whether he believed he was the victim of a witch hunt, he said: "You make up your own mind."
